Last summer, I posted about all my legal drama/woes, and said, “It might be a simple thing to fix”.

It was not :P.

It is, however, mostly fixed now. There were court hearings in three different counties, there were fines, I’m now officially a ‘public nuisance’, and then there were 90 days with the above contraption strapped to my ankle. I was restricted to my home for all of the major holidays from Thanksgiving to New Years, I was allotted 2hrs/week for groceries, and didn’t leave for anything else besides work & school. My family was really supportive, my sister came over nearly once a week (and even brought her friends to visit me in confinement), and the folks brought the holidays to me. Matt & Jess came up from Oregon and hung out. Mario was played & beaten. Shae visited. Basically, I’m pretty lucky to have the people in my life that I do.

Yesterday, I was finally let back into the wild. It’s pretty great. I’ll be going out to shows, I’ll probably actually see some of you around again, and maybe I won’t be so generally withdrawn and skittish about how much I’ve fucked my life up in the past. We can hope, yeah? :)

I tested for Nintendo for about a year and a half (on-and-off like a good temp), and this is a pretty close approximation of how my expectations were quashed by tiny cubicles with VCRs and 105hr weeks of Pokemon Stadium 2. Not sure if Hot Tamales and Mountain Dew qualify as “nutrient-rich” sludge, though.
