One Million People →
joegoldberg: I made my first and only donation of this campaign season to Obama not too long ago. Obama is getting extremely close to the 1,000,000 mark for donors. The American public tends to be very impressed by large round numbers, and while 1,000,000 is not significantly different from 987,355 (or whatever the number below currently indicates), an even million would be a good talking point...

How Not To Buy Happiness? →
joegoldberg: Does anyone have a copy of the essay “How Not To Buy Happiness” by Robert Frank? I lost mine, and all the results on google are behind paywalls. Thanks, Joe I had no luck w/ Google either, but the article is only $5.95 through Amazon.  (vs. $10 direct from the publisher) Looks interesting, I might just buy it myself.

Bill Clinton Campaign Chair Goes for Obama →
soupsoup: highindustrial: “David Wilhelm, who was Bill Clinton’s campaign chairman in 1992, has endorsed Senator Barack Obama for president.” Oh yeah, he’s also chaired the DNC, resides in Ohio, and is a superdelegate. “He said in a conference call today that Mr. Obama was more electable than Senator Hillary Clinton. Mr. Obama’s campaign is evidence of his leadership, he said, calling it...

“Polaroid is closing its last remaining film plants in Mass. so the oh so fun...”
– Gizmodo (via amandalynferri) This is crazy, to be true.  BUT, there are still instant film options.  1. Buy an old Polaroid from Value Village for like $2, and I’m sure other companies will still sell you film for them.  OR, 2. Buy one of those little portable printers for your digital...
